National Taiwan Democracy Memory Hall
Formerly known as the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall,
this Hall is located on an area of 250,000 square meters
and in addition to the 70 meter-tall main building, also
houses the National Theater, the National Concert Hall,
and the Boulevard of Homage, plaza square,
surrounding corridors, and Chinese-landscaping
Aside from being a place for public recreation, the plaza square also doubles as a meeting point for public movements. Many political and social events take place here too.
